I recently started working on this painting of a Merganser and her two chicks. I just love the 'wild' feather head of the female.

And then the two chicks snuggled together made this an adorable picture that I just had to paint. It is a work in progress but now that the A/C is up and running in my studio, I plan to finish it up over the next few weeks. The painting is in acrylics, 9x12". I will post again when I've completed the painting.
