And now it is my favorite season of the year: Fall! There is so much to love about it; cooler weather, the changing of the leaves, fires in the fireplace (indoors and outdoors), apple-picking, hot cocoa, walks in the woods (and this year, electric bike rides with my new ebike!), soups and chowders, reading by the fireplace, apple and pumpkin pies, etc. So many things that I love about this season.

I know a lot of people like Summer best but as I've gotten a little older and no longer spend any time sunbathing, unless whatever sun I get through my sunscreen on the golf course counts as sunbathing, I prefer the cooler sweater weather and all the perks that come with this time of year. I'm hoping to get up into my studio, too, but I have a deadline for myself to finish up a couple of books before the end of the year (I will definitely finish one). But I also have some illustrations to work on and I'm planning to work on those this fall as well. 

But cozying up with a good book and a cup of cocoa in front of the fireplace, can't think of many things I enjoy more!
