Finally finished my latest commissioned portrait! It has been a very busy season as we are in the countdown to Christmas, but I always welcome a commissioned portrait. 

I love getting to know each animal as I work on him in pastels (mostly - I think pastels make the best animal portraits.) Although I also paint animal portraits in oils, they take longer to complete, cost more to the customer, and don't have the texture I can create with pastels. 

I am grateful to each and every person who commissions me to paint their beloved pet!
